Sustainability is our Future
David Palmer, Candidate for KCGCD Director, FCS/MUD at large
As our springs continue to run dry, we need to stand and take action for the common good. I represent all the citizens of Kinney County. I will do something to preserve and protect our water, for our present and our future.
A Threatened Treasure
The springs of Texas nurture a thriving community of birds, animals, insects, and humans. For the past three years, the springs of Kinney County have gone dry, for months at a time. Unsustainable use must be transformed to sustainable use, to preserve and protect our priceless ecological treasure and our ranching way of life.
“The earth, the air, the land and the water are not an inheritance from our forefathers but on loan from our children. So we have to handover to them at least as it was handed over to us”
